IGF-1 LR3 (Long R3 Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) is a recombinant IGF-1 analogue with an arginine substitution at position 3 and a 13-amino-acid N-terminal extension. As a result it barely binds IGF-binding proteins and shows an extended half-life in research models.
